So why do we treat food so differently when we're hungry. I swear there is food that I would never consider as edible when I'm at my most mentally sound....and yet is looks like a Thanksgiving Day feast if I see it on an empty stomach.

Good for this guy!....

Somehow, a 5' 8", 130 pound white guy with absolutely no organized basketball experience has managed to get his name officially entered in the upcoming NBA draft.

Zach Feinstein does have a website documenting his adventure. You can find more information about the process he took to enroll himself, as well as look at some "stats" he's compiled from his pick-up games. My favorite is the list of nicknames submitted by supportive fans.

That is one unsettlingly large insect...

I could probably handle running into a Goliath Beetle at some point in my life, but the Atlas moth (three pics down the page) is just plain creepy. Imagine one stuck inside your apartment or house flappin' around, desperate to get out...and it makes one final attempt at freedom by attacking you in the face.Yes. I just wet myself.
